What is familiar and known is comfortable. We know what to expect. We know how the story goes. And we know how we will respond.
But when you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always gotten, and if you’ve been unsuccessfully trying to lose weight then the last thing you want is more of the same.
Throughout our lives, there are times when we must leave what we know and venture into the unknown.
Of course you can never be fully prepared for the uncertainties that lie ahead, but that’s part of the fun! Not only discovering a new (and hopefully better) way to do life, but seeing who you become in the process. We often overlook what we can accomplish and who we can become by focusing on what we have done instead of what we can do.
What you can do. Who you can become is already inside of you, it’s just waiting for you to let it out. You already have an expert internal guide begging for you to let it lead you to success and that guide is your intuition.
Unfortunately, the constant confusion caused by the diet industry has you second guessing that little guide. You no longer trust yourself to know what to eat, when to eat, why to eat. Instead, you just follow anyone’s advice because surely they know something you don’t.
Except you do know more, and you know what doesn’t work. Instead of staying with the broken familiar, what if you were to step outside that cage of a comfort zone and follow your instincts? What if you were to ignore all of the “experts” out there and ask yourself what you need. What do you know deep down you should be doing? Those instincts will lead you on a journey towards better health, better relationships, and a better life.
You’ll discover who you really are, what you really want, and what you’re really capable of.
The wilderness of your intuition will lead you to new discoveries that you’ll never experience if you stay on that worn path of comfort which will lead you to an uneventful and disappointing destination.
Imagine what life could be like if over several years you swapped everything you have now for everything you really want.
That, my friend is the destination you should be moving towards.
What decision will you make today to move you closer to that destination?
Get uncomfortable and you’ll start getting results!
